| The Virginia Men's Rally was held on
October 6 at Colonial Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, VA. The featured
speaker for the evening was Pastor Roger Baker from King, NC. Men
throughout the region were in attendance.
The
singing was electric. The testimonies were soul-stirring. And the
preaching was hot! Going into the Rally, there was a great spirit
of expectation and faith for what God would do in our hearts. In
spite of rain, traffic delays, and various other hold-ups many men
came to hear from God.
Pastor Baker challenged our hearts from the Word of God to be men
to stand in the gap and fulfill our God-given destiny as leaders
and ministers at home and church. It was a refreshing time from
the presence of the Lord.
Another blessing was Pastor Bob Hassel from Champaign, IL. He flew
in and shared with us the reviving work God is doing in his church.
The passion of his heart was to see God continue to work at his
church and in the lives of each of the men present at the Rally.
He exhorted the men to seek God to work in our own hearts first,
and then seek God to work in our churches and families as well.
Praise God for answering prayer and ministering in a powerful way.
