Prayer Advance 24

"A Local Church Weekend"

What Is Our Mission?

“To Bring Spiritual Revival, Renewal, and Refreshment to the Local Church and their local community!”

What Makes the Weekend Special?

Our aim is to bring the spirit of the Prayer Advance to local churches. What makes this time so special is our focus. We only do four things... Hear from God's Word, pray, worship, and edify one another through fellowship. It's special because as we implement these Biblical practices and obey God's commands, He works in our lives.

  • God's Word - Powerful Preaching that is Word-based and Spirit-filled speaks to the heart.
  • Prayer - Prayer isn’t the only thing we do, but it should be the most important thing we do. Prayer will be implemented on a corporate and personal level. Jesus said His Father's house was to be a house of prayer.
  • Worship - Heartfelt worship draws us closer to the Lord and to one another.
  • Fellowship - Edification is commanded in Scripture and amplifies the work of God in our lives.

Why Prayer Advance 24?

Back in 1988 Harold and some pastor friends went away for a couple of days to pray together and seek the face of God for a reviving work in their lives and churches. As they prayed and searched the Scriptures, God moved mightily in their midst. The Prayer Advances were born through these humble beginnings. The Prayer Advances have grown over the years, but not everyone can travel to them and take 2-3 days off work. Our desire to see more people experience God in a personal way has led us to launch Prayer Advance 24. This event consists of 24 hours of seeking God together in your local church. It also provides a great time to spark interest within your church to bring a group to one of the main Prayer Advances.

Scheduling:

Our goal is to provide a simple framework to accelerate a culture of prayer within local congregations. The elements in every Prayer Advance 24 include at least: 3 preaching sessions, 1 corporate prayer time, 1 personal prayer encounter, and opportunities to worship God and edify one another.
